I was snaking through Brian's blog when I found this picture of us crammed between two bikes on our shameful way home on the winter run. Serious game of footsie going on.

Between Austin and Houston I pass this old drive-in every time. I wish we had drive-in in Austin. I was doing some research and at one time there were like 6 around town.

I scored this sweet David Mann tapestry at and antique place around the corner from my sisters place in Houston. What a score! Its in great condition .

This is my wife's CB350. Super fun bike. Props to DS for the tail light.

Up in smoke

We rebuilt carb on the Ranchero and ran some gas through it. We need to re-core the rad and seal the gas tank, but the motor runs strong. It inspired me to order some real bias ply tires for my '49 so hopefully next week ill have some pictures of it in some new shoes.

Cold Night in Texas

Knuck facelift

My '47 knuckle has been under anesthesia for the last several months while my bud Zac at Full Custom Fabrication performs some surgical procedures, namely, paint, chrome and the creation of some nifty tidbits. Those killer pipes are his excellent work. It's very close to finished now and I am waking up in the middle of the night with cold sweats, thinking about riding it. Finished product to follow shortly.........

Trying to get back in the swing

Over the holidays I bent a new sissy bar to kick in over the drum/sprocket.

Also made a license plate mount. I was tired of that shit zipped to the rear.

My sister painted the primary belt!! BLACK SLABBATH!!!

Put an Andrews "BH' grind in. Made the motor come alive.

I got some Superior mufflers and threw them on. Really quiets it down and gives some great back pressure. Sorry for the crappy pics.

Put together some new pipes for the shovel after digging some cocktail shakers out of the back of Bud's motorcycle shop.
